The most prominent feature of the Gateway of India is its 4 turrets that are designed using the intricate latticework. A visit to the Gateway of India can be made either through air, rail or road transport, whichever is suitable for the visitor. Specific address to the Gateway is defined with location at Apollo Bunder in South Mumbai. To reach there, you can use:

Air : Countering air transport, the Chhattrapati Shivaji International airport is located at a distance of around 28 km from the Gateway. One can easily hire a taxi to the Gateway from the airport.

Rail : Unlike air transport, railway mode is located at a mere 5 minutes distance from the destination as Churchgate and Chhatrapati Shivaji terminus are located there. Taxis are easily available for the visitors.

Road : Mumbai buses are all time available to pick and drop you from any part to any place of the Mumbai city.
